Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy for eligible items, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

 


Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it
  • Unused and unassembled
  • In its original packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

Please note that returns must be approved prior to shipment. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.

 


Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products, certain items are non-returnable, including:

  • Live plants (including tissue culture and starter plants)
  • Seeds and pre-seeded products
  • Soil substrates and grow media
  • Used ECPonics systems that have been in contact with plants, water, or soil
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Sale items and gift cards

These items are considered perishable or sensitive and cannot be resold once opened or used.

 


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@ecponics.com with:

  • Clear photos of the product
  • Photos of the packaging
  • A photo of the shipping label

We will evaluate the issue and, if approved, provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.

 


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

The fastest way to receive a different item is to return the eligible item (if applicable), and once accepted, place a new order.

 


European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.

To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unused
  • In original condition and packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Non-returnable items listed above are exempt from this right where applicable.

 


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and inform you if the refund has been approved.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for processing

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at support@ecponics.com.

 


Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase, provided they have not yet been processed or shipped.

 


Important Notice

ECPonics products involve biological processes (including plant growth and seed germination), which are influenced by environmental conditions outside of our control.

While we design our systems to maximize success, we cannot guarantee specific growth outcomes after delivery.
